ABOUT ME
Salvador Rios Jr. is a SAG-AFTRA actor who has worked in the television industry for over two decades, mostly behind the scenes, until now.
He spent years riding shotgun with cops in real life as a documentary producer and worked with various government agencies across the country. He was the guy who convinced suspects in handcuffs to sign legal paperwork to appear on television. That takes a level of skill and a certain type of person…
His journey also led him to collaborate with high-profile reality stars as a reality show producer. So, he knows a thing or two about crafting compelling stories from real life drama.
Salvador has been called a "Warm Latino Uncle Meets Disillusioned Detective with a Conscience" and with a background rooted in documentary and reality show production, he brings a deep understanding of real-world complexities to his compelling character portrayals across drama, mystery, science fiction, and comedy.
A member of SAG-AFTRA, The Television Academy and The Producers Guild of America, he is committed to projects driven by purpose, guided by his values of authenticity, compassion, ethics, wisdom, and making a difference.
This commitment is evident in his work with the Producers Guild of America's 'One Guild - LGBTQ+ Working Group' Committee, where he co-leads efforts to foster inclusion and diverse storytelling within the entertainment industry.
Salvador's drive is fueled through collaboration, mentoring newcomers in the industry, and championing underrepresented voices.
He is an experienced storyteller ready to collaborate with visionary creatives exploring the human condition – and if there are aliens, otherworldly oddities, or interrogation scenes involved, even better!
Salvador is currently in development of a chilling true crime miniseries, diving deep into the case of a late 1970s serial killer with a focus on exploring the killer's disturbing modus operandi.
Let’s Collaborate.
